Weekend Post It: What would you like to see on Blogs Her Color in 2010?

I know it’s only been 3 short months but with the new year upon us now is a good time, to set our goals and sights for 2010. As it’s says on the about page, Blogs Her Color is about support and the members so it’s seems only right to ask you guys what do you want to see on Blogs Her Color in 2010? I’ve already got one great suggestion to host a Blogs Her Color retreat,and I’d be more than excited to hear any other suggestions and/or your thoughts and what being suggested.

So today’s Post It isn’t really a post it at all it’s a question for all of my Blogs Her Color’s members, fans, supports and all.

What would you like to see on Blogs Her Color in 2010?

I like BrownBetty’s FB fan page suggestion. That’s expanding the reach. A retreat or conference would be cool also. Maybe set the directory up regionally or even by state for those who may want to make a local connection. Maybe annual blog awards.

I love the Facebook fan page and the idea of cleaning up the directory. I’m always looking for new blogs and have the hardest time finding them because directory isn’t in tip top shape.

I also think maybe doing some contests would be good and perhaps highlighting a blogger a month by interviewing them and posting the interview. It gives us another way of seeing them outside of the blogs.

I really like the blog awards! that’s such a great idea!
